While it gets cold in the north Georgia mountains that Mark Krueger now calls home, it seldom gets as cold as it does in his birthplace of Milwaukee, WI. Relocating to the warmer climes of Georgia in 1978, Mark lived in Atlanta for almost thirty years, completing a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Georgia and being forever a proud Georgia Bulldog. Specializing in tax compliance, Mark now provides services to Nichols Cauley's clients from the Dalton and Rome offices. A certified public accountant (CPA), Mark enjoys helping clients through detailed tax planning and general financial consulting.
About Mark Krueger
Known as the resident meteorologist, Mark is just as tuned into the forecast as he is to the financial health of his clients—so much so that some call about the weather before they call about taxes. As a partner serving both the Rome and Dalton offices, Mark focuses on small to medium-sized businesses with a tax-heavy, advisory-forward practice—acting as a trusted advisor across day-to-day compliance and long-term planning. He splits his time between client conversations and collaborating with team members to "quarterback" busy-season workflows, ensuring returns and projects move efficiently from setup through review to delivery. Mark's true passion lies in building relationships, maintaining high levels of client interaction, solving common pain points for clients, and keeping everyone up to date on the weather.
My Favorite Part: "Collaborating with team members to provide solutions to client challenges—we have great team players, and it's truly enjoyable to work with them and support our clients together."
