As an audit partner, Brent leads the team across commercial financial statement audits and special attestation reporting (including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC +, SOC for Cybersecurity, and SOC for Supply Chain) and advisory engagements. His advisory work spans franchisors/franchisees, family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and PE-backed and publicly traded entities. He also offers support with software implementations (including SAP and JD Edwards); franchisor compliance services; IT general controls and design evaluations; and governance, risk, and compliance services focused on internal audit controls testing and process improvement. Brent has advised clients on adherence to Federal Trade Commission regulations such as the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and various data security requirements.
