About Alan Whitman
Alan Whitman is a high-impact
business leader known for challenging conventional thinking, building cohesive
teams, and aligning organizations around a clear, ambitious strategy that
drives sustained growth.
He serves as Chief
Executive Officer of Nichols Cauley, a financial services company operating
across the Southeastern U.S. that focuses on small- and mid-sized business
owners, bringing a more integrated approach to navigating complexity and managing,
protecting, and growing their businesses and wealth.
Previously, during his nearly
decade-long tenure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Baker Tilly US,
Alan led the firm through one of the most defining periods in its history.
The firm grew more than threefold, expanded into 15 new U.S. and six
international markets, completed over 20 strategic mergers and acquisitions,
and established the firm's global footprint.
Widely sought after for his
perspective on transformation and growth, Alan regularly shares his insights
as a speaker and podcast guest on leadership and the future of professional
services. Deeply committed to developing the next generation of leaders, he is
